Dora Bleu, Periklis Tsoukalas & Cedrik Fermont create dreamlike atmospheres that explore imperialized psychic struggles against reproducing colonial realities. The trio has recently created an emotionally intense being of sound, tone, noise, music and voice, set to arrive on Syrphe later this year.

Opening Act:

Dora has worked with a variety of musicians such as Sam Shalabi and Marc Ribot. Periklis was a member of Baba Zula and has collaborated with Diamanda Galas among others. Cedrik Fermont (also known as C-drík Fermont or Kirdec) is a former student of electro-acoustic composer Annette Vande Gorne (Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium). In 2017, he was co-awarded the prestigious Golden Nica Prix Ars Electronica in digital musics and sound art.

Ira Hadžić is a sound artist, writer, cultural anthropologist based in Berlin. In 2022 she has been awarded the Karl-Sczuka Förderpreis for works in radio art.

Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu is a cellist, improviser, composer and artistic researcher from Istanbul, currently based in Berlin. Her work ranges from improvisation and experimental cello performances to electroacoustic compositions and installations. She is interested in reinterpreting specific musical genres and exploring beyond their traditional boundaries. She is engaged with the concept of play and its intersections with improvised music practices, as well as co-created, collaborative approaches.

Born in Lubumbashi in 1972, Cedrik Fermont, also known as C-drík, Kirdec, and Cdrk, is an artist with Belgian, Congolese and Greek roots based in Berlin. He studied declamation, theatre improvisation, and electroacoustic music in Belgium. Since 1989, he has been actively involved in the realms of noise, electronic, and experimental music as a composer, musician, mastering engineer, author, radio host, concert organiser, independent researcher, and label manager at Syrphe, a label and platform founded in 2002, mostly but not exclusively dedicated to electronic, experimental and free improvised music from Asia and Africa as well as his compositions and projects.
