Joe Foster (Seoul), Jean Paul Jenkins (Portland, OR, USA), and Bryan Eubanks (Berlin/US) began playing together through improvised music in 2000 while all living in Portland, Oregon. They worked extensively for a few years as a trio and expanded groups. They toured the US, played dozens of concerts in the Pacific NW, and released a few small batch CDrs on the now defunct Rasbliutto Recordings. Although they have collaborated in other contexts over the past 22 years, this special concert at Morphine Raum will be recorded live and is part of a small series of meetings in Berlin and Germany during November 2023 that bring them together for the first time as a trio since the early 2000’s.
