Hyperdelia, the Berlin-based label fostering experiments with studio production, virtuality and recorded music, celebrates two new releases from Kaj Duncan David & Scenatet and Monasunne (Lara Agar & Louis d’Heudières).
Only birds know how to call the sun and they do it every morning is Kaj Duncan David’s latest album with the Danish ensemble Scenatet. Synthetic vocals and a live MIDI ensemble form the basis for these touching and fragile, lysergic songs balancing on the edge of another world.

Fields Become Sky is the debut album from Monasunne, a collaborative project by Louis d’Heudières and Lara Agar. Starting from their shared experience of growing up in East Anglia, the duo dug into the history of the region, finding Old English myths and poems written at a time when it was an independent kingdom. Developed over multiple recording sessions from 2020-2023, using a mixture of self-programmed synths, violin textures, field recordings, and autotuned vocals, the seven songs on this album find thresholds between ancient dreams and contemporary identities, imagine lands filled with hope and loss, and conjure alternative lullabies in a lost mothertongue.
